Invalid Markets

What is an invalid market?

An invalid market is one where the outcome cannot be resolved according to the platform's rules. When this happens, no winner is declared, and all participants receive refunds regardless of which outcome they bet on.

How are refunds calculated in invalid markets?

In invalid markets, each share (regardless of outcome) is valued at 0.50 USDC. You can claim a refund based on the total number of shares you held across all outcomes.

Can I lose money in an invalid market?

You won't lose your entire bet in an invalid market, but you may not get back the full amount you spent. Since refunds are calculated at 0.50 USDC per share, and shares may have cost different amounts, some participants may receive less than their initial investment.
