When a market is marked as invalid:

  • Each share, regardless of outcome, is valued at 0.50 USDC

  • Participants may claim refunds based on the total number of shares they held

  • No share wins or loses, and all outcomes are treated equally

This model ensures a fair and consistent fallback that protects participants in the absence of a clear result.
